Be on task
Please be aware of the school and classroom rules and the consequences for breaking the rules. Refer to the updated student handbook. (pdf file takes a few minutes to load)
In class you will 1st receive a verbal warning, 2nd you will have your name put on the board and will lose your participation points for the day, 3rd warning you will receive a 10 minute detention, 4th warning you will have to write a 500 word essay, and if disruptions or infractions continue you will be sent to the Dean of Students. At the discretion of Mrs. Eclipse, you may be sent to the Dean immediately. Red slips will also be given for dress code violations, cell phone/Ipod use, and gum.
REWARDS
I hope to be able to reward you often! Every student's birthday will be recognized with a free homework pass worth up to 50 points. I will give verbal and written praise to students often. I will also give every student a chance to win prizes in class as well as extra credit points based on behavior and performance in class.
